Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen, Founder/Formulator

Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen is a distinguished Clinical Pharmacist who graduated from the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy (USC) in May 1998. From working as a pharmacist for over a decade, she has learned that a successful clinical pharmacist needs to have certain essential attributes: attention to detail, genuine care for patients, the ability to understand a patient’s desires, the experience and continuing education to care for a patient’s overall health and an uncompromising commitment to stay abreast with cutting-edge medical treatments and alternative natural treatments to help patients. Based on this understanding, Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen incorporates all these elements into her daily practice. 

Driven by her commitment to excellence and in pursuit of her dream to be a pharmacist from a very young age, Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen obtained her Bachelor’s degree in just 
three years from the University of California San Diego. She went on to complete her doctorate degree in pharmacy from USC. After graduation, Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen joined the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Diego as an Inpatient Pharmacist for two years. She also opened up a non-profit pharmacy, the Neighborhood Healthcare Pharmacy, where she served an underprivileged community in Escondido as a pharmacist. 

Thereafter, Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen became a Pharmacy Manager at Rite Aid for two years. She helped train and recruit new pharmacists for Rite Aid during those two years. She also became the pharmacist preceptor for many pharmacy interns from various schools such as University of California of San Francisco, University of Southern California, and University of Pacific and University of California of San Diego. Recently, the University of California of San Diego honored Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen by selecting her as the recipient of the 2009 award for Best Clinical Pharmacist in San Diego. She will be featured in a short video about the unique job that she performs as a Clinical Pharmacist on a University of California of San Diego website. 

Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen joined Albertsons/Savon Pharmacy as Pharmacist Manager in 2000 where she specialized as a Clinical Pharmacist and Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist. She is also a certified level 2 Diabetes Educator where she helps all her diabetes patients achieve better health and manage their diseases through eating healthy, portion control, and supplements. Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen considers herself a Holistic Pharmacist who strives to listen and care for her patients’ medical needs and other life issues so that they can achieve optimal well being. She is also working per diem as a clinical pharmacist consultant to La Jolla Spa MD where she helps clientele achieve optimal results for beauty and health through DNA analysis and a combination of science supplements. 

In an effort to find all potential remedies for her patients’ ailments , Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen constantly immerses herself in the latest health news/developments to learn about the most advanced medical treatments or alternative natural treatments. She has hosted several Vietnamese TV shows such as the Vietnamese Broadcasting Services (VBS) show called “DOI SONG LANH MANH” where she ventures out to find the latest products, treatments, or techniques to help Vietnamese communities throughout the United States and Canada. She currently has her own educational talk shows that air daily on DirectTV 2078 called HonVieTV. You can view some of her talk shows in the video section of DirectTV 2078.

Dr. Jacqueline Thao Nguyen lives her life to the fullest daily, wherever she works. Her patients can attest to her dynamic personality and caring demeanor. Paul Hickey, Chief Strategy Officer 

Paul Hickey is a Chief Strategist and Principle of Premium Herbal USA. Mr. Hickey is also the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Hickey Freihofner Capital, a successful boutique investment bank. He has many years of experience advising, raising money, and taking companies public. He provides advisory work in the areas of capital structuring, public listings, investor relations, strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Hickey has successfully closed several financings on behalf of client companies and is involved in all aspects of raising capital for his clients where he focuses on capital structuring. 

Mr. Hickey is also co-founder and managing partner of Coron Capital Management, a bridge fund company. His bridge fund focuses on providing Pre-APO, Pre-IPO and bridge loans to various international and U.S. companies seeking financing. 

Mr. Hickey is a talented and eminent entrepreneur with 20 years of experience as CEO of U.S. and international companies. His extensive experience includes raising private and public capital; interfacing with board members, investors, and shareholders; managing the P&L of rapidly growing public and private technology and business services companies; leading acquisitions; planning and executing corporate strategies; setting and managing budgets; developing and implementing marketing plans; creating, producing and teaching business seminars; hiring and managing senior executives; restructuring and turning around companies; launching international trade; licensing technology; developing distribution; and creating and commercializing technology. 

Prior to co-founding Hickey Freihofner in 2006, Mr. Hickey was the CEO of Shera International, an 180-employee Chinese company based in Shanghai that offers electronic manufacturing services, transaction technologies, fab-less semiconductors, and transactional thermals. During 2004 – 2005, Mr. Hickey lived in China while he ran the business where his contributions included launching a new subsidiary, creating new distribution and marketing channels, and raising capital. 

Also in 1998, Mr. Hickey founded Q Comm International, a U.S.-based telecom technology company that he took public and listed on the AMEX. As CEO, Mr. Hickey completed several rounds of financing through convertible debentures, PIPEs and public equity, raising more than $8 million in private placements. He took the company public in 1998, getting listed on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX), and grew his business to a $60 million run rate. He also acquired an international company and licensed his technology to international partners. As Chairman of the board, he managed implementation and compliance with Sarbanes/Oxley and all public company issues. 

Mr. Hickey was an active member of the Young Entrepreneur Organization for 18 years and President of the Utah Chapter for one year. He an avid tennis player and has been a member of the Untied States Professional Tennis Association for 26 years. He has a BS in Business Administration from Brigham Young University. He holds Series 24, 62, and 63 licenses. 

John Hickey, Chief Operating and Marketing Officer 

John Hickey currently serves as the Chief Operating and Marketing Officer of Premium Herbal USA. Mr. Hickey spent the past 2 years as an independent consultant in the financial services sector. Financial consulting work included developing comprehensive financial plans, executive summaries and investor presentations for various investment banking clients. He also analyzed, tracked, reported, and consulted on various investments including a portfolio of stocks, investment properties, and hard money loans. 

In March 2010, Mr. Hickey became the sole director and officer of Valley High Mining Company, a public shell corporation. As President and CEO, Mr. Hickey managed a team of accounting, auditing and legal professionals in executing annual and quarterly HTML and XBRL SEC filings. He also sourced market makers to ensure maintenance of the company’s OTCBB listing and managed derivative liability valuation. 

Over the past many years, Mr. Hickey developed extensive education and expertise in internet marketing. He co-founded NetQuest Consultants, an internet education company he made profitable and sold within 6 months. He has developed extensive internet marketing curriculum and helped conduct hundreds of internet marketing seminars throughout the United States and Canada. His expertise includes on-page and off-page search engine optimization (SEO), white-hat link development techniques such as article marketing and directory listings, pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns utilizing dynamic landing pages, social media, and managing third-party website design, programming updates and revisions. Mr. Hickey is also a certified Google AdWords Professional. 

From 1993 to 2007, Mr. Hickey created and led the marketing department at Q Comm International, a startup telecom technology company that went public in 1998 and was listed on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX). Mr. Hickey’s marketing leadership helped Q Comm grow from startup to an 80-employee company that repeatedly ranked as one of Utah’s fastest growing public companies, reaching an annual run rate exceeding $60 million. Among his accomplishments, he created an in-house media buying agency that optimized more than $5 million in direct response advertising through TV, radio and print and outperformed the company’s leading competitor within 3 months. His public relations accomplishments include publishing more than 40 industry articles, writing and distributing more than 180 press releases, and developing a custom distribution database that led to more than 100 full or partial reprints of the press releases in targeted industry publications. He also led marketing communications efforts including leading the development of company and product messaging platforms. Mr. Hickey is an accomplished copywriter and has created numerous ads, website content, collateral, business plans, newsletters, channel communications, press releases and industry articles. 

He has also conducted various market research, competitor analysis, company positioning, and identity development. His design experience includes leading contract designers in development of company logos, letterhead, collateral, website, tradeshow booth and PowerPoint template. He is accomplished in event planning, promotion and logistics. He hired a team of professionals and managed them in the execution of several national seminar and workshop circuits. He produced more than 1,000 successful events over a 5-year period that included market analysis, planning, site selection, venue negotiations, contract review, booking, event promotion, travel logistics, and ROI reporting. His product management experience includes developing requirements for products, managing market beta testing, assessing and acquiring third-party products for profitable resale, and managing product promotion. He also has merchandising experience in leading the creation of floor displays, point-of-purchase signage, and product packaging. 

Mr. Hickey has a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. He also earned an MBA from the University of Arizona with a specialization in entrepreneurship and a concentration in marketing where his entrepreneurship program ranked as the 4th best among all MBA schools in the country. 

Hanh Nguyen,  Corporate Attorney

Hanh Nguyen immigrated to the United States in July 20, 1985, after spending a year in the refugee camps of Malaysia and Philippines.  In 1993, he went to the University of California San Diego on full scholarship.  He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 1997. 

Mr. Nguyen graduated from the University of Buffalo School of Law in 2000.  In law school, he was an active student and participated in Moot Court and joined several student organizations.  He graduated law school with an emphasis on Tax and Corporate Law.  He then subsequently relocated to Southern California to work on several start-up companies for a few years.

 In 2004, Mr. Nguyen opened a real estate brokerage office in Las Vegas, Nevada and served as broker.  After seeing a lack of attorneys serving the growing Asian population in Las Vegas, Mr. Nguyen decided to pursue the Nevada bar. 

For a few years, Mr. Nguyen concentrated in Bankruptcy and Real Estate Law.  Currently, Mr. Nguyen has his own law office with a general practice.  In work and in life, Mr. Nguyen stresses the importance of empathy and compassion to others. 

Hanh Nguyen is a sports enthusiast.  He enjoys watching sports as well as playing them.   In addition, he also loves to entertain and barbecue for family and friends on the weekends.   Mr. Nguyen enjoys cooking have often said that if he was not an attorney then he would be a chef.  

Dr. William Lee, Formulator

Dr. Lee was born in Sioux Falls, S. D. and grew up in Topeka, Kansas from age 12. He was class president and student body president at the Bellamy Award Winning Topeka High School. He also excelled at music and sports. He earned degrees in both Economics and Political Science at the University of Kansas, where he was Sophomore Class President. He graduated from the University of Kansas Medical School in Kansas City. He received his excellent training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Los Angeles County / University of Southern California, argueably the best and busiest training in OB-Gyn at the time. Dr. Lee became Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1979. He was invited to join, and elected into membership in the prestigious Central Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 1981. He was the Medical Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Porter Hospital while they opened their Obstetrical Service 1988 – 1990. He served as Chairman of the Department of OB-Gyn at Swedish Medical Center 1990 – 1992. Dr. Lee has a wealth of experience having practiced in the Denver area since 1977, delivering over 6,000 babies. His career includes listings in several Who’s Who organizations, and “Best Doctors” awards. He has served on the Board of OB – Gyn Affiliates since its’ inception. In 2000, in pursuit of help for his son with autism, he ventured into alternative medicine by studying Functional Medicine, the medicine of the future. In 2003, he became Certified in Age Management Medicine by Cenegenics. He became Board Certified in Anti-Aging Medicine in 2004, having to learn about Nutrition and Exercise, and how that interplays with total Hormone Balance to optimize Health and Aging. This training has allowed Dr. Lee special expertise in menopause, Andropause (male menopause), and Bio-Identical Hormones for women and men. Recently, he has studied with Diana Schwarzbein, MD, author of the Schwarzbein Principle I, and the Schwarzbein Principle II. She was also a great resource to Suzanne Somers when she wrote her book, The Sexy Years. By special appointment, Dr. Lee also practices “Age Management Medicine,” or “Anti-Aging Medicine.” Dr Lee has also been certified in the Metagenics First Line Therapy program. He works with two FLT certified Nutritionists, and Donna Clarkin, an FLT certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. Dr Lee has 4 children and 4 step children, ranging in ages from 22 to 38, the youngest having Autism. Outside the office he enjoys hiking, biking, golf, and squash. He would like to find the time to do more flying. 

Dr. Randy Ross, Formulator

Dr. Randy Ross currently resides in Carlsbad, California. He went to California State University Fullerton for his undergraduate and received his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Creighton University in 1997. He has been practicing pharmacy for over 14 years. He believes that drug alone do not cure people but people need to empower themselves with the knowledge to take care of their body through natural methods then your body can be heal and live a fuller and healthier lifestyle. 

 A New Direction and Paradigm Shift… 

After years of counseling his patients about their pharmaceutical drugs, it became overwhelmingly clear to him that there was an obvious fundamental lack of understanding in the general public regarding the true underlying cause of the many diseases they faced. Even more discouraging was the fact that many people feel helpless when it comes to managing their condition….and even worse… prevent these so called “Inevitable Diseases of Aging.” Fueled by interest and compassion, he began to research the root causes of many common diseases his patients faced. What he soon discovered sent him on a journey that not only turned his world 180 degrees, but truly enhanced the daily conversations he was having with his patients. 

In order to share what he was learning with as many people as humanly possible, he partnered with a revolutionary company with an even stronger vision and purpose. He have joined an international community of thousands of like-mined people to share his passion on a whole new level. 

Mission Statement… 

To empower 20,000 people by the end of 2012 to take a pro-active role in their health and to help them discover their healthier direction…no matter what it is. It could be to lose 5-50 lbs so that their overall health will be improved. It could be what to do to prevent “Oxidative Stress” level so they can minimize the cause of over 200 diseases. Nnenna Chukwumerije,  Pharmacist and Formulator

Nnenna Chukwumerije is an established R&D clinical pharmacist professional with over 11 years experience in medical information management, medical coding, medical terminology, and drug safety. Strengths include managing product related medical information to individuals, health care and non-health care professionals. Served as consultant pharmacist to various nursing homes with improved customer services and timely delivery of medication orders to the homes. I was cited for maintaining well-organized pharmacy with exemplary quality control. 

As a registered Pharmacist for over 9 years, I was instrumental to the success and smooth operation of 3 medium pharmacies, including Bloomfield Pharmacy, NJ. I was preceptor to many interns. As a Medical Information Specialist with Pompton Pharmaceutical Service, Pompton Plains NJ, I provided patient counseling services on medications. Later, serving as Sr. Specialist, Global Pharmacovigilance & Epidemiology in the then Aventis Pharma and Medical Terminology Specialist with Schering Plough, I was instrumental to facilitating key medical information flow related to medications, their uses and disease states. 

In all these years of providing patient counseling and researching medical information regarding disease challenges, I was unable to help many patients with their frustrations at their ever-increasing health challenges despite the numerous medications they appeared to be taking. I felt like I was not doing enough for them. This lead me to read more about alternative medicine and in time developed a deep interest in preventive medicines and remedies. I have taken many classes and courses on many common diseases and their management with natural and complimentary products that help to supplement one’s daily intake from food. 

I am excited to be a part of this new wave of empowered consumers who have taken control of their health by practicing preventive health management. 

I am married with four children. I love reading, meeting people, and venturing into new ‘possibilities’ to see what I am potentially capable of doing. I am involved in community activities where the efforts are targeted at improving the lives of others. I founded and operate Cosmic Waves Scholarship Initiative, a voluntary non-profit organization with a vision to helping young people achieve their full potentials and shape the future with their talents, integrity, power and confidence. The Initiative works to prepare young people to be healthy, productive and engaged citizens. 

I am passionate about making a difference in other people's lives. In my spare time, I lend my experience as a Distinguished Toastmaster, DTM, to helping others in their quest to overcome their fear of public speaking. Toastmasters International is an international organization that helps the participants master the arts of speaking, listening and thinking - vital skills that promote self-actualization, enhance leadership, foster human understanding and contribute to the betterment of humanity. 

My general attitude is that things are great, getting better because every day is a new opportunity filled with unlimited possibilities – a gateway to a better tomorrow. Attitudes are contagious, are yours worth catching?
